I give my wholehearted and sincere recommendation for Abundant Congregations.
When I was tasked with identifying a capital campaign consultant firm, I was overwhelmed. There were some that the church had used previously, and the big firm with inflated promises and a big, big cost. I had the opportunity to speak with Pastor Haven, Abundant Congregations' president, I appreciated his pastoral approach, and it resonated with the other leadership as well. Along with an appropriate fee, Abundant Congregations was the clear preference.
For a number of reasons, I was reluctant when church leadership asked for me to be a campaign co-chair. The consultant met with me privately in order to discuss and work through all of my concerns. He encouraged me that I was fit for the role, and that he would be walking with me and the other leaders. While not working at the church, I most regularly communicated with our consultant by phone, text, and email. He is extremely responsive. And I think because of his experience, he also connected with the staff on a regular basis. I believe that staff appreciated that greatly.
Our consultant was very encouraging, optimistic, patient, and it was obvious he had a passion for inspiring generosity in response to an abundant God. Abundant Congregations' campaign approach is the embodiment of its name. I give Abundant Congregations my full recommendation.
